Review of The Last House on the Left (1972) by Rocknblues 8 — 26 Sep 2009
Piece of junk that rips off the much superior The Virgin Spring. It's about 2 druggie teen girls that go to pick up some drugs on their way to a Rock n Roll concert and end up stumbling onto the wrong crowd. Naturally, the men have evil in their minds and holes in their hearts as they kidnap the 2 girls and take them to the woods where they forced them to do strange acts before taking care of them permanently.
Later they unknowingly stumble onto the house of one of the victims and the parents find out and seek revenge in this poorly acted movie that fails to get it's message across because it mixes it's serious scenes with bad attempts at comic relief. Oh, and with horrible hippie music in the background. Which of course was provided by the main baddie himself.
