Review of The Last Horror Movie (2004) by Stephen M — 01 Apr 2008
Another simulated snuff film, this one taking the form of killers video journal. Intercut with scenes of the killer's day job, personal life, and acts of violence and murder, he will directly address the camera (and, in turn, the viewer), offering some rather chilling insights on his mind.
.. and, occasionally, yours. The main character is acted brilliantly, and the uniqueness of this film (combined with the rather low level of gore) allow for a good recommendation. This movie, had it been released a few years earlier (in the age of VHS), also can (occasionally, if you set things up right) make for a great practical joke, since it's shot to look so real (and let you know that it knows you're watching).
