The Last Exorcism Part 2 was strong, but not strong enough to match its predecessor. Despite its solid build up, it fails to bring to life some of the terrifying thrills and stunts that made the first one so successful.
The film escalates and unfortunately switches from a purely horrific tone into what came off as a comedic ending. It's too bad, especially for Ashley Bell who puts so much effort and hard work into creating an intriguing and complex character.
In the end, I don't think it would be such a bad thing if this were to be the last exorcism...
