Review of The Last Exorcism Part II (2013) by Evan G — 03 Mar 2013

I saw The Last Exorcism Part 2 today, and I thought it was a decent horror film.

The film followed what happened to Nell Sweetzer, the teenager who was the subject of the exorcism in the last film, as she tried to get on with her life. However, the evil forces won't let her. I thought Ashley Bell delivered a good performance in the film. The movie did offered some chills and provided the horror in a slow burn until near the end.

Unlike the first film, this movie wasn't shot in "found footage" but, instead, in a conventional shooting.

This film wasn't as great as the first one but much better than you might think.

I enjoyed watching the film and recommend for a matinee fare.

I give it a grade of an B-.
