Review of The Last Exorcism Part II (2013) by Evan A — 01 Jun 2013

For anyone who has seen The Last Exorcism knows that it was a major hit among found footage films. While this sequel has no shortage of distorted bodies and shocking images there's not much else to it.

The idea is silly, the scares aren't scary, and the acting is if anything melodramatic. If perhaps this movie had no relation to its predecessor and instead was a separate film all together it may have been better.

Instead, part 2 throws out the documentary style and allows an unoriginal cinematic experience with a script not only bad, but also stupid. The Last Exorcism returns to the big screen with a needless sequel so pointless, you really will be asking for your money back.

What I hope is that this time when they say the LAST exorcism, they actually mean it!
