Review of The Last Exorcism Part II (2013) by Chris Y — 20 Jun 2013
The Last Exorcism Part II is a hit and miss affair. The scares from the first and second acts range from not scary to just downright silly. However the acting and the premise are solid, and the scare factor increases, both chillingly and seriously, during the third act as it leads to a satisfying ending.
I will also note that removing the found footage aspect from the first one is the sole cause of why most of this movie isn't too scary.
