Were the filmmakers a bit hasty with the title? Of course they were, and that mere fact biased audiences everywhere bringing them into the movie with already negative thoughts. Overall, I thought this sequel was effective.
The storyline held up and Ashley Bell brings back an old friend of horror fans in her role as the wicked Nell Sweetzer. Though some of the other actors may have fell flat at times, the film's interesting story and talented lead actress are what kept me watching.
3 out of 5 stars, coming from someone who didn't judge the film by it's title.
