Review of The Last Exorcism Part II (2013) by Andy N — 19 Sep 2013

I'm just going to say this one was boring. I didn't finish it. I attempt to finish all movies I start, but honestly this film was so dull it put me to sleep. It attempts to shock people by trying to create no separation between fantasy and real.

Problem is...if you've watched horror movies for as long as I have, you've seen all of this before. Films like In The Mouth of Madness and Jacob's Ladder are classics and have used this trick to its full advantage.

This film attempts nothing new, but continues the story. I liked the first film because it was ballsy and didn't shy away from the subject material and it embraced it's ending. It didn't need a sequel and thus after having fallen asleep during the sequel, I can honestly say I was right.

But hey, who doesn't like money?
