Review of The Last Exorcism (2010) by Andy K — 07 May 2011
The Last Exorcism is basically a cross between The Exorcist and Blair Witch (with a few hillbillies thrown in), filmed entirely with a hand-held camera, mockumentary style. While the tension is built up well, there just isn't enough meat in the script to be satisfied.
Don't be misled by the movie poster - you don't actually see Nell headbutting the ceiling, but there are a few decent shocks.
