Review of The Last Exorcism (2010) by Raymond G — 27 Nov 2011
This movie was a complete waste of time. Rest assured that you'll neither be scared nor disturbed because you'll be too busy laughing at the fraudulent antics of the main character, who of all things, is a pastor who has fallen out of faith and belief in the existence of God and merely continues his services for the monetary means of his life.
The premise is pretty good, but it all falls into silliness much to fast.Throughout the whole experience of watching the thing, you'll have about two or three jumps, and then the ending comes out of nowhere and leaves you with more questions than answers.
The horror genre really seems to be on a downward spiral and unfortunately it only seems bleaker thanks to this latest offering. I recommend you to save your money and use it instead to rent some horror classics from the 80s and 90s.
Trust me, you'll have a MUCH more pleasurable experience.
