Review of The Last Exorcism (2010) by Jennie N — 17 May 2012
As reality TV continues to grow on our screens and more ideas are made, the same is happening with the 'camcorder' documentary style movies, 'The Blair Witch Project' being most likely the baptism.
On followed titles as 'Rec', 'Paranormal Activity' and now this one surfaces and with yet new content not done - an exorcism? The movie has lots of references to the Almighty and demons, in order to set the scene and all the characters are introduced.
The movie pace is slow and is standard documentary style, around a farm and following the stars around, keeps you guessing at the girl's real status throughout but also takes the movie to a quick finish and a little over the top, a mixed finish between the endings to 'The Blair Witch Project' and 'End of Days'.
