Review of The Last Emperor (1987) by Laura N — 05 Jun 2013

This was a wonderful film. I knew nothing about the last emperor of China when I started watching this film. I came away with a greater appreciation of that period in China's past, but also a better understanding of what his life must have been like.

My one complaint is that in order to make the protagonist more sympathetic, some of the characters were two dimensional bad guys. Otherwise, it was a good movie with amazing actors.
