Review of The Last Emperor (1987) by Michael L — 16 Apr 2008
Having seen both the theatrical and directors cut, I am in sound fine declared the latter 4 hour verison is the one to see so I am reviewing that one. there is definetely more powerful and alluring with the extras and historical context that was lacking in the original version.
john lone was spectacular and peter o'toole was again robbed of an oscar. this is also a great chance to learn about wwII attrocities that are not really taught abotu in the west.
