For lovers of history, Asian culture, and classic epic film, this is an essential. It's merciless subtlety, attention to detail and honest acting make every minute of it's 3 hours engrossing. Beautiful cinematography and perfect score really put the final touch on a complete picture.
They just don't make 'em like this anymore...
