The epic film that won a best film oscar back in 87, showing the life of a emperor of china, from birth and events following his life, including political struggles with japan, this film takes in a wide scope, its never dull, and although in english language, as far as I know, it was this in west, it fits, a epic look to the piece, and the emperors life is acted well by the many actors of diferent ages, a film ive not sen untill now, and much better than, a tibetan take kundun by scorsese, a interesting watch.
