Review of The Last Emperor (1987) by Simon D — 08 Mar 2014
Solid film which is one of them I can sit and say to myself "i've been there" all the way through, which I enjoy, sadly. The forbidden city is such a great place to make a film though, it couldn't have ended up as a bad film.
This does get slow in the second half though but the ending is worth waiting for. Oh and it's got Josie Packard from Twin Peaks in it.
