I went with a friend to catch this film at the movie house the year it was released. We were very excited because we had heard so much about Bernardo Bertolucci's 'the Last Emperor.'.
People really loved this film - it is such a spellbinder! Also, I'll never forget the very last shot of that grasshopper (or whatever that was) that comes out of the jar. And yes, this lush and epic cinematic spectacle looked wonderful and fantastic on the big screen!
