Review of The Last Emperor (1987) by Abdul Hadi W — 24 Mar 2009

Technically brilliant but dramatically dull. The problem with films like these are that whoever was stupid enough to make this in english. Also, it seems all the money went to costume design and extras when it should have been spent on actors, because the performances in this are absolute shit.

As far as I am concerned the only person who was actually acting was dear Peter, the rest were just reading off lines like half retarded midgets. The length did not bother me, the performances did.
