Review of The Last Duel (2021) by Lumdog — 31 Oct 2021

It's very rare these days to get a medieval historical epic for adults; and its a shame that this has tanked at the box office. The story is beautifully told from the different perspectives of the main characters.

The characters are complex and fleshed out, the set design and costumes are immaculate, and all the performances are top notch (especially Jodie Comer). The duel itself at the end is epic, its visceral hard-hitting action that's filmed with such care.
