Review of The Last Drop (2006) by Ilsa W — 29 Mar 2009
The cast reads like a who's who of British character actors, mixed in with Europeans and Americans (cast for the marketing campaign)... and David Ginola. Yes, that David Ginola. It ends up being one big Boys Own mess but a fun mess in places.
It's a cast full of unashamed stereotypes, with the one exception being Alexander Skarsgard and Karel Roden's hilarious double-act of renegade Nazis. The one upside of this entire production is that it is a truly British independent film, funded solely by private investors and should be praised for that effort.
