As one critic said it is no Moon, which btw was an amazing movie. I think as sci-fi and horror fans will agree the genre tends to be "B" movie quality most of the time but we suspend our disbelief as best we can to enjoy the rare flick in this genre.
The Last Days On mars was visually on par with many good to even great sci-fi movies. I thought Liev's acting was the best I have seen of him in any movie. The story was predictable but enjoyable and I felt satisfied watching the movie, my sci-fi cravings went away.
