Review of The Last Days on Mars (2013) by Cade H — 17 Dec 2014
Part space thriller, part zombie bloodfest, The Last Days On Mars takes a shot at a popular genre but falls a little short. The acting, especially by lead actor Schreiber was great but the story moved along to slow at times and their was not much fear or terror present except for a few scenes.
It seemed as if the team could of prevented the problem a little better then they did, being smart astronauts and all, and it lead to some very confusing decisions. Toward the end it had a nice intense feel to the film but the ending just felt unfulfilling and left me wondering a little to much.
It was a nice take on zombies (zombies in space!) but left a lot to be desired.
