Review of The Last Day of August (2012) by Lee M — 05 Oct 2013
Acting, writing and cinematography in this film are incredible. A moving portrayal of recovery and what it means to be loyal. Heather Lind nails the Upstate New York 'tude and Michael Izquierdo delivers a powerful performance as Dan, the young, wheelchair-bound "normal guy," trying to find his way in a new life.
Genuine character moments also make this movie funny at just the right times. Definitely urge everyone to check it out!
