Review of The Last Castle (2001) by Tony P — 07 Jul 2007
The Last Castle is a very well-made film, loaded with intelligence and feel-good, patriotic ass whooping. The protagonist is the most honorable ideal, leading by example, and the antagonist is so dispicable he breathes harder than the average person.
Their battle of wits is one of the best in recent films. This film will be on the shelf of anyone who loves strategy, military history, and the mideavel era. One of my absolute favorites.
