Someone, somewhere was obviously thinking to themselves: "I bet the Die Hard star could do a better Lethal Weapon than Mel Gibson." I have to love the cynical, hard-boiled detective he plays.
..this movie was a decent action thriller that moved you right along til you reached the "happy" ending where the big bad guys get their just desserts. It's really an 80s action movie at heart - entertaining and trite.
