Not as lame as the title, or the first half of the movie, would suggest. Started off like your average 80s teen lust movie, ala Porkies etc. But took a serious, and decent character-driven, turn in the second half. The ending is brilliant.
Ultimately, too much fluff to be classed amongst teen-drama classics like Fast Times at Richmont High, or any of the 80s John Hughes movies, but not a bad attempt.
