Review of The Last Airbender (2010) by Alexei S — 16 Jul 2013

While I am a big fan of the tv-show, this film butchered the story and negates the possibility of an actually good movie version of the cartoon. The film was extremely flexible with the origional story and delated important scenes, while adding necessary ones.

The special effects were cheesy at best and to be honest, it is kind of lame for the plot of the story that most firebenders in the movie (with the exception of Iroh) cannot actually create their own fire.

The acting was dull and uninspired and the film as a whole was a waste of a great opportunity.
