A disgraceful attempt at a cinematic recreation of an amazing kid's TV show. Perhaps if I didn't watch the show, I wouldn't have been so thoroughly disappointed, but at least I could understand the confusing and rushed plot of Shyamalan's horrific creation because of it. This movie isn't supposed to be funny, but I ended up laughing multiple times from either the bad acting, or even the embarrassment of telling my friends this was a great movie and having them come with me to watch it.
The thing is, the "Avatar: The Last Airbender" franchise was recognizably amazing, and all I ever hoped for was a movie for it. Unfortunately, the only good thing about this movie is that it didn't have a sequel.
