The movie completely butchered itself. It would have been a great movie if the director had taken an in depth look into the details of the cartoon's storyline. The cartoon is truly amazing and it was really well written.
Shyamalan should have taken tips from the original series and not run amok with crazy hollywood stereotypical movie making format. For a huge Avatar: The Last Airbender (the cartoon) fan, this movie is just disappointing and I really do hope there's a remake of this movie to do justice for the series.
