Review of The Laramie Project (2002) by Jingbo W — 14 Oct 2010
I'd seen the play a few times before I finally sat down to watch the movie version, because I was afraid that the movie would lose some of the power and drama that the play held. I am happy to say that is not the case.
Set up through the interviews of a grieving town, and piecing together the broken strands of Matthew Shepherd's death, this is a seriously important story to share with our youth. Unnecessary hatred must stop today; how many more people have to die before equality is finally achieved?
