Full disclosure: I was in this movie. That said, if you like B-movies, then you'll like this movie. Troma-esque in tone and delivery though more in the spirit of their earliest films where everything is done to the best of the budget. No lack of talent in (most) of the acting(that sounds self-righteous, I'm talking myself down more than anything). The script is solid and some of the effects are truly grotesque. As a whole it is a bit rough around the edges but that is what allows it to be self-consciously "B.".
The story is engaging and the dialogue is peppered with jokes. There are a few genuine gut laughs, plenty of moments where you appreciate clever wordplay and a few groaners too. There are some great gore effects and genuinely tense moments. I'm proud of the movie and have shared it with my friends and family.
