Review of The Landlord (1970) by Jason T — 25 Sep 2007
Starts off with promise before devolving into a 70s-core miasma of "messages", many of which contradict one another, and not in the way such things tend to IRL. In the way they tend to in a movie that's supposed to be about "race relations" but is really about a noxious white guy using black people in order to get out from under the thumb of his castrating mother and become a man.
Great performances by most of the cast, though.
