If not for the terrible special effects this might have made for a good genre film. However, the effects are terrible. It's hard to beleive Universal put a movie with such bad effects out. Besides that it isn't too bad.
The performances aren't bad and the story it a bit much, but not any worse than most of these genre pictures. The movies looks good with the exception of the dinosaur crap. Just a barely average genre picture.
..nothing more. The T-Rex suit makes Godzilla look like CGI!!
