Review of The Land of Steady Habits (2018) by Melissa C — 14 Sep 2018
This is one of those movies that hits too close to home, almost parallels in some ways with my actual life. For that reason I have obvious bias feelings about that. But I also laughed a number of times, came close to tears a bit few times,, and felt, understood, many times throughout. I think you just might have to be a guy still reeling from the wounds of separation to really get this one. But I think if you can identify with the character, the loneliness and confusing, you may really gain an insight into a legitimately painful human experience. -Signed, guy who is/has going through many of the same things.
