This is possibly Don Bluth's best film. It sets itself apart from other cartoons because the film is dark, yet optimistic. This film has one of the saddest scene in a child's film. One of my favorite scenes from this film is near the end with confrontation with the sharp tooth.
This is a wonderful film.
