Review of The Lake House (2006) by Alan L — 22 Aug 2010
It's a good premise. A very sweet way to make sci-fi more interesting than a hyped, techno-futuristic, fancy style and a little bit utopia people used to love to watch. I recognized the element is mixed within unexpected situation (although the premise has mentioned it) while I believe most of people, subconsciously, never happen to see this in actual dimension. And that's why I needed to watch this.
Unfortunately, the filmmakers didn't learn about the field here at all. I don't know about it either, but I know the film gives a false sense. I recommend to see the film if you're not an enthusiast of sci-fi (I never met one who loves watching romance), because for all I care, the story is better being told than filmed.
