Review of The Lair of the White Worm (1988) by Melissa H — 01 Feb 2008
Bram Stoker was dying when he wrote THE LAIR OF THE WHITE WORM. Avoid the novel, the uneven Russel directs a pretty good English horror film set in Cornwall with a pre-4 WEDDINGS AND A FUNERAL Hugh Grant and the delightfully sarcastic Amanda Donahue.
The worm FX are pretty lame but this is a very entertaining but very camp and somewhat ironically self-aware horror film.
