Review of The Ladykillers (2004) by Steve E — 14 Nov 2009
While the situations were humorous, this one failed to deliver for me. I guess I set my expectations too high for the Coen Bros. who I always enjoy. This remake follows the strangest of criminal teams, led by the clever and even stranger Prof.
G.H. Dorr PhD. The "ensemble" pretends to rehearse in a root cellar, as they attempt to make a casino heist right under an elderly woman's nose. I must say the music was good, but only recommend this to die-hard Coen Bros fans.
