Review of The Ladykillers (2004) by Kevin D — 27 Mar 2012
Not funny, and not fun. The Coens have made great comedic films, but this is as far as it gets from Raising Arizona. Hanks here is best described as "offbeat", but I thought Tzi Ma had an admirable comic energy. Other than that I felt the performances were generally one-note, and some utterly lazy.
*Years go by... No personal growth worth mentioning occurs...
Been a while... Maybe its time for a reassessment?
