Review of The Lady Vanishes (1938) by Zack M — 21 Mar 2011

While I wouldn't call this a masterpiece, and it surely is not as good as Hitchcock's other films, this is an extremely entertaining thriller which creates a good deal of suspense. It's a very straight forward plot compared to other Hitchcock films and it doesn't really explain too much of what is going on.

This may be why I wasn't as impressed by this movie. It's an excellent thriller, and worth watching but it's not a film I will revisit and certainly not one that I am still thinking about after seeing it.

It unfortunately did not have the depth plot wise to be anything special in my mind.
