Review of The Lady from Shanghai (1947) by Gregory S — 23 Mar 2008
This movie reminded me a lot of bergman's "persona" regarding the repetitive use of close ups and the very many creative ways to light them (not to forget the symbolic use of light and dark).
independently, the scenes in the aquarium and the hall of mirrors are beautifully shot and composed to the point they made me drool.
