Review of The Lady from Shanghai (1947) by Dave A — 28 Jun 2008
Once you get used to Orson Welles pretending to be Irish and Rita Hayworth having bleached hair and a crap haircut this ain't a bad film at all. The plot is a bit confused, and the overall narative messy, but it;s still worth watching and the climatic influential hall of mirrors scene is a gem.
