Review of The Lady from Shanghai (1947) by Luiserghio M — 02 Apr 2009
At times a bit stagey (Gus Schilling.) But the ending is a fabulously psychological cash in. At times it takes a while to get there but Orson Welles makes it work. The scenes with Rita Hayworth are an excellent example of subtle sexuality in film.
