Review of The Lady (2011) by Paul K — 12 Dec 2014
A very well-told, powerful story. My hair stood up and my eyes pricked with tears a few times in the telling. It's so surprising that the generals have let her survive. At the end I was also surprised to discover that the director was Luc Besson, as it's so far from his usual style.
I expected this to be less than it was, so I was pleased to discover its quality.
