Review of The Ladies Man (1961) by Dave S — 18 May 2010
If you want to watch solo Jerry Lewis, this is probably least objectionable programming. But although this holds up better than I remembered and I laughed plenty, I'm also finding it kind of hard to defend.
Lewis is supremely irritating, and even though he clearly means to be that doesn't make the film any easier to sit through. 95 minutes is a lot of Lewis to go around. But you already know if you're going to like this or not.
