Review of The Krays (1990) by David T — 08 Apr 2008
This is vintage British gangster movies at it finest, possibly the most famous gang in the history of Britain, The Krays ruled London with an iron fist and this film shows how from childhood to manhood, they took control and spread fear into those who dared crossed them.
Gary and Marian Kemp (what is it with 80s pop stars wanting to be London villains in the movies first the Kemp brothers then followed by ex-Bros front man Luke Gross as Charlie Richardson in Charlie) Both of which couldn't have done a better job then the one's they did, British film at its best.
If you have an interest in gang culture (and especially during the 60s) then this and Charlie are to must see films.
