Review of The Kite Runner (2007) by Qiaofeng W — 24 Oct 2011
The kite runner, at the first sight of the strange title time, I need to catch some vacant, catch kite? Why should run, oh,it is the custom in Afghanistan.
Afghanistan? We always take it with Taliban, war, refugees, associated with death. Let us remember always is a hideous face, panic in the face, not easily, there will be no more smile. Is war, further promote the tragedy.
It seems that everything is destined. Amir and Hassan, are a pair of grown up with and, or partners. Master Amir will say the first word of the father, and Hassan would be the first word is Amir. It will be their life the most important person name. Amir in order to get dad all the love, at framed Hassan for a; Hassan for his master, who suffered from stigma, eventually give life.
Amir was wrong? He is timid, cowardly, selfish, see Hassan being a form of a group of bullies, but pretend not to know. But he was on the run of that a moment, my heart is so complex. Eventually he is determined to win back the father," Hassan may just have to pay the price, so I must be a lamb...... He is just a Hazara, isn't it?" In fact, Hassan or Amir's half brother. However, this was my life deeply buried secrets revealed, Hassan died in Taliban under the gun.
Hassan was wrong? When we finish reading this novel, all of the sadness for his misfortune, for his loyalty, purity, kindness touched. But after a series of events, see the master for his attitude, Hassan will think it worth? Why is he a commitment? He also thinks he is merely a humble servant? Or to friend Amir, he is willing to pay for everything, we can make nothing of it.
But one point can be identified, either Amir or Hassan, are not wrong, they are kind and innocent children. Because of their race, that they have equal status, forced to world polar. This story shocked everyone's mind, he gave us a deep cry again:
We want peace! We want equality!
