Review of The Kite Runner (2007) by Ryan E — 04 May 2010

At first I thought it was going to stay true to the novel even though the flashbacks of Amir's childhood were brief but when the movie reachs it's half way point, when Amir returns to Afghanistan, a lot of the original story was missing from the film.

I know if they were going to be faithful to book, the movie would of been rated R but if I was a film maker, I would rather restrict some people from watching it by making it a R rated film than just making an average, forgettable movie.
