Review of The Kite Runner (2007) by James B — 16 Jun 2010

I really enjoyed this film. I think it displayed a wonderfully emotional story of friendship despite the odds in war torn Afghanistan. Despite the tragedy of the narrative there is a postive from the film's ending.

I still think I'd like to give the book a try as there seems to be a lot of people saying this film didn't do the book justice. I think some of the acting of the adult characters is a bit weak at times too.

However the film still touched me and I feel it's one of the saddest films I have seen.
