Review of The Kissing Booth (2018) by Cristina D — 19 May 2018
I really liked this movie. Is not a masterpiece, but I would totally recommend it if you're looking for something light/relaxing to watch, meaning, it is cute and a funny way to satirize high school films (in a way it reminded me of Mean Girls). For a teen rom-com, I would dare to say that portrays much better teen relationships than some others do, so I don't think this is a family movie.
On the other hand, if you're a fan of the book, let me tell you: they've made some major changes, especially regarding the characters personalities, but I don't necessarily think this is a bad thing.
Overall, I believe it is a decent adaptation, and the acting and scenery was good.
P.S.: Thank you very much, Netflix, for casting Jacob Elordi as Noah ;).
